Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Need: NP/PA Infectious Disease

When: June 27th for 13 weeks (Sept 27)

Must have a VA license and DEA

Description:

• Large inpatient and outpatient practice as well as a major research enterprise.
• Need NP/PA with HIV experience
• 2 years experience required
• AAHIVM or HIVMA HIV care certification
• M-F 8-5
• ambulatory care including management of chronic conditions
• Patient age range is from 0-90 but the majority of patients are over 50. There is a very small population of children.
• 1000 people with HIV; generally 10-20 visits per day; general follow-up of HIV disease and some primary care of common co-morbidities
• 2 clinical coordinator RNs; Case managers
• STI testing, HIV specific care
• No CALL
• EMR is EPIC
• COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):
• Required - No Exemptions
• Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):
• Required - No Exemptions

We are offering a very competitive rate- $100 per hour, plus travel and lodging.
