Description
VISTA is seeking a Pulm Critical Care coverage for a Rhode Island client. This is a 4 month assignment with possibility of extending.
Location: Rhode Island
Duration: 4-6 months with possible extension
Board requirement: Board Certified in Critical Care Ok for ICU, but Board Certified in both Pulmonary CCM preferred
Schedule: 1 week per month; 100% Inpatient
Shifts: Days (no nights)
Shift Responsibility: 12 hours in the ICU/PRG, 7 days (Mon Sun)
6 hours for inpatient pulmonary consult, 5 days (Mon Fri)
Specialty: Pulm Critical Care
Procedures:
Placement of arterial lines
Sedation: deep, conscious
Cardioversion Central Line placement
Pneumothorax Management
Endotracheal Intubation
Consults: Yes, IP Pulmonary Consults
Census: 10-15
ICU: Take care of the patients in the ICU, along with ICU triage/admissions, Code Blue, Rapid Response
Back-up: ICU: residents (usually three), one APP, nurses, respiratory therapist
EMR: IP is Cerner / OP is EPIC
Trauma designation: No trauma patients
License requirement: RI
Privileges: 90 days
