Description
Location: Western Massachusetts, 3 different locations.
Rate: Hourly, expenses paid
Start Date: ASAP
LOA: Through the end of the year most likely. I may work to get this extended.
Schedule: M-F 9a-7p, Sat/Sun 8a-4p, they will do full time (40 hours) over a 7 day period, can potentially do more if they want more shifts.
Certs: APP Family Medicine would be ideal but can work with Internal Medicine or ER. Primary care experience alone is fine.
PV: See roughly 3 patients/hour
Age Range: Around at most, 10-20% peds (over 2 years old), the rest adult
Procedures: They won't be the only one there, there is a second provider so they are flexible. Being able to suture and do I&D’s is ideal.
Most frequent cases: Lower back pain, std’s, rashes. They have been doing Telehealth for URI’s and if provider knows Telehealth that would be a plus.
Support staff: 1 additional provider, nurse, PSR, MA
EMR: Cerner
Other: Nice areas with plenty to do. Basketball HOF, MGM Casino, Plenty of hiking outdoors, mountain trails etc. 1 hr 15 min from Boston, 2 hours to NYC. Cape Cod 2 hr 30 minutes away. 3 different sites to cover about 20 min apart.
