Adding 1 Pulmonologist: Outpatient and Inpatient Rounding/Consults

Call Pulmonary Only:
Average Calls per month based on switchboard information: 11P-7P: Average calls per month: 3-4 7A- 5P: Average Calls per month: 2-3 during 5P-11P:

Average Hospital Consults per Day: 25-30 Patients / 4-5 New Consults per Day

Average Office Visits per day: between 20-25 a day

Procedures: Bronchoscopy
No ICU since the Intensivists are covering it but would be rounding and providing consults for inpatient on the floor.
24 Bed ICU Outpatient – current physician sees 15-20 per half day of clinic.
Census for inpatient is 30-40 but he is supported by a rounding Nurse Practitioner.
Including home studies, volume is 60-80 per month.
