Physician / Pulmonology - Critical Care / Georgia / Permanent / Pulmonology - Critical Care Job

Medical Center is currently seeking a full-time pulmonologist with critical care to join an established practice with one other board-certified pulmonology/critical care physician and with support from an FNP-C. Shared call with anesthesiologists/critical care; extra pay for extra call. Salary is at mean of MGMA; plus a bonus of 100% of the practice profits.

Requirements:

• Completion or upcoming completion of pulmonology/critical care fellowship
• Required Certifications/Licensures: Board certified physician or board certification eligible (if eligible, must obtain board certification within 5 years)

Employed Positions. Hospital-owned physician practices-treat them as if the MD is the owner. They negotiate a salary based upon MGMA figures, which is paid to the physician monthly. At the end of the year, the physician receives 100% of the profits of the practice – as he would if he owned the practice. They do not charge a fee for running the practices. As far as they know, They are the only hospital that operates this way. The physician also receives full benefits including paid malpractice, benefits package, relocation, CME allowance. Residents that wants to make an early commitment, they will pay him/her a monthly stipend to help with expenses through the duration of training.
