Description
VISTA is assisting a health system in California with their search for locum tenens Urologist. Just a short drive to all areas of San Francisco Bay, this region has endless sights to see and places to explore. This client rarely has locums openings so take advantage of the opportunity!
JOB DETAILS
* Dates- ASAP and ongoing
*Prefer 3 to 6-month duration at least
*Schedule/hours: Full-time, including night and weekend call on a rotating basis with existing staff urologists
*Job Duties: Standard office-based urology and procedures and noncomplex operating room procedures as well as emergent procedures while on call
*Call required? YES, telephone call with possible callback. Currently it would be one in four. We don't have in-house call. *The urologist get paged and depending on the case they come in to evaluate the patient and possibly take them to OR (if indicated)
*Procedures required: Cystoscopy, prostate biopsy, straightforward bladder biopsy, ESWL, straightforward ureteroscopy
*Patient Load: 15-25 patients per the clinic today
