Description
Specialty: BC OBGYN HOSPITALIST Multi-provider program with 3 providers on 24/7. The practice model is 2 MDs and 1 CNM 24/7/365. Requirements: Active/In process Florida license, Board Certification with a minimum of 3 years active experience High acuity, high volume practice location NICU Level III 460 Beds Projected Deliveries: 1646 Delivery Assists: 231 OBED Visits: 3392 24-hour In-house call Responsibilities Manage unassigned OB patients that present to L&D and the main ER Provide coverage of Obstetric emergencies Manage unassigned GYN patients that present to the Main ER Manage all patients that present to the OB-ED (OB Triage) Responsible for Circumcisions Perform Antepartum, Post-partum and GYN rounds on unassigned patients that are on the OB/GYN Hospitalist service Inpatient consults Provide emergent GYN surgery services for patients that present to the Main ER (ex. Ruptured ectopic pregnancies, ovarian torsion, incomplete Ab, etc.) Call Coverage for Community Providers as needed; will be responsible for managing all their patients during the coverage period. Participate in Drills/Simulations, RN education
Participate in Residency training and education as needed EMR: Cerner Hospital Privileges: 60-90 days
