Description
VISTA is assisting a North Carolina client with inpatient General Surgery coverage with shifts December - March 2023.
Dates:
12-23-12-26 (7a11a)
2-3 (7am) to 2-6 (11am)
2-17 (7am) to 2-20 (11am)
3-2 (7am) to 3-7 (11am)
3-17 (7am) to 3-20 (11am)
3-31 (7am) to 4-3 (11am)
Call Responsibilities: Call, Nights & Weekends. Not required to remain on-site while on call
Average # patients/day/provider: 7-8
Average # admissions/day: 1-2
Average # admissions/night: 1-2
# Surgical cases per month: 50
Does not respond to codes
Does not serve as back up in the ER
Procedures: Appendectomy, strangulated hernias, cholecystectomy, I&Ds, procedures that will be emergencies
EMR: EPIC
License: NC
Privileges: 30 days
