Job Summary:

We are in search of a professional, passionate Neurologist to join our team of doctors. You will care for a wide array of patients with a goal to eradicate, treat, and/or maintain quality of life as it pertains to an individual case. You will diagnose and treat disorders that affect the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles of patients, as well as, examine a patient’s mental and physical status, conduct medical tests and scans, and evaluate the results to diagnose and treat the patient.

Responsibilities:

Conduct and/or order tests to diagnose the patient and determine the cause of their issues through medical history, physical examination, identifying symptoms, and neurological tests.
Provide neurological tests and interpreting the results of neuroimaging studies.
Prescribe and/or administer medication or treatment, conduct medication checks, and order laboratory tests.
Educate and counsel patients and their families on neurological disorders.
Monitor the behavioral and cognitive side effects of treatment and medication.
Provide follow-up care and work with other medical specialists and participate in neuroscience research, development, treatments, and medication.

Requirements:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
Valid medical license in the state of practice.
Must have completed residency training.
3 years of specialty training in an accredited neurology residency program
Five (5) plus years of experience.
The ability to communicate information in layman terms and show compassion to patients and/or their families.
Great organization, time management, decision making and research skills.
