Pivot Onsite Innovations is now hiring an experienced and self-driven Medical Director for a full-time position. This role will provide healthcare support company wide! Great schedule Monday - Friday 8AM to 5PM. Must be comfortable with on-call 24/7!

Job Summary:

The Medical Director provides clinical oversight, expertise, leadership, patient care and direction for the administration of the onsite health care clinic to ensure the delivery of quality occupational health care services as defined by national and local standards. The Medical Director oversees and directs clinical services and serves as a liaison with site leadership, providers, supervising physicians and other key stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide clinical guidance, leadership and medical expertise in the development, implementation, and medical interpretation of occupational health management policy, procedure, and guidelines for client sites
Provides oversight and direction of provider education, training, and orientation
Participates in provider profiling functions, identifies health and safety management trends and potential gaps in employee injury prevention and takes corrective action
Ensures processes are in place for confidentiality of medical records, client information and treatments
Provides medical guidance and supervision of injury prevention management and workers comp case management service activities
Oversees the program's case management functions
Monitors and tracks program performance indicators to ensure that cost-effective care is being provided with defined quality standards
Evaluates over-utilization of the emergency room and other off-site care
Participates in audits when appropriate
Responsible for the development of corporate clinical care standards and medical practice guidelines and protocols
Participates in OSHA process where appropriate
Participates in short term disability and FMLA where appropriate
Liaison between client key contacts, program sponsors, providers, employees and management at each site regarding medical issues
Partner as needed with risk management, safety and HR at client sites

Skills
Required Education and Experience Requirements:

5+ years minimum Occupational Health experience
State Licensure
5+ years minimum experience in a supervisory or oversight role
Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification required
Minimum valid OSHA 10 Construction Certification required, OSHA 30 preferred
Construction background or previous knowledge is strongly recommended
Thorough understanding of OSHA Recordability and Worker's Compensation principles required
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
Flexible schedule and ability to travel to site locations nationwide as necessary
