Description
We are working with CVPH - Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital. They are seeking 24-call coverage starting in February. The University of Vermont Health Network - Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital (CVPH) is a private, non-profit, Level II Trauma Center serving a tri-county region in northeastern New York. The catchment area is approximately 160,000. CVPH is a tertiary center that offers high technology and is JCAHO accredited. They are one of eight state- designated Regional Resource Centers for Emergency Management and are also a Designated Area Trauma Center in the state Lifestar Trauma System. They offer a quality of life that is second to none along with practicing in a big hospital that has many newly constructed, state-of-the-art departments. 24-hour Hospitalist coverage
Full-time Intensivists that cover 14 bed ICU
9 ORs at the Main Campus; 4 at the ASC (5 minutes away) General Surgery
• *Feb 13-Ongoing
• *24 hour call (able to work 48 straight, but must rest for 24 following)
• ** 3 Hours gratis included in rate**
• Must have ATLS
• *3-5 days a month needed
• *Can start 4 weeks from being accepted
• *Census: 10-20 inpatients
• *Busy at night (Big money)
• *"Bread and Butter" general surgery, robot available but not required.
• *Sub Specialty support: Colo-rectal, GI, Vascular, Cardiolgy, PLastic, PUD/CC, Ortho, IT Rad
