General Cardiology in Sumter, SC

Health System is seeking a General non-invasive Cardiologist to join a rural practice location 1 hr from Columbia and Charleston, SC

Established Clinic looking for a 3rd physician to join this busy practice!

Monday-Friday schedule- Call is 1:6!

This is an employed opportunity with an excellent compensation package, personalized physician retirement plans and benefits, PTO, CME allowance, relocation allowance and signing bonus.

Cardiology Group implemented a practice in Sumter, SC over 10 years ago and has seen great success. This location is 45 minutes away from the main tertiary care campus. The practice is owned and operated by the Health System and employs the physicians and support staff. They have privileges in the local hospital. The only hospital in the area. This is a private, not-for-profit, 301-bed acute care facility. Their active medical staff has more than 150 physicians, representing 25 medical specialties.

Sumter is 45 minutes to Florence and Columbia, SC and a little over an hour to Charleston, SC. Sumter is home to a very large military base and home to beautiful state parks, Swan Lakes and a charming downtown. With excellent public and private school options this town provides the amenities one would require to relocate. 2 hours from the coast and 3 hours to the mountains- great location right off Interstate 95 which take you up and down the East Coast.
