Description
A New York City healthcare network is currently seeking a licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join their team in Brooklyn. As a member of a Multidisciplinary Treatment team, the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) will be responsible for providing advanced clinical psychiatric nursing care to referred clients. Part-time and full-time opportunities are available!
Responsibilities:
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) will:
- Collaborate with the Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric evaluation, medication review and on-going treatment for clients
- Ensure accuracy of diagnosis and appropriate pharmacologic interventions
- Support appropriate multidisciplinary interventions
- Provide leadership within team to recommend program placement
- Coordinate interim treatment planning
- Perform other duties, as neeed
Qualifications
- NYS Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license
