Great group with multiple locations in the Charleston, South Carolina area seeking OB Nurse Practitioners. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 5:00 pm. You’ll work alongside a team of healthcare professionals who are passionate about serving the underserved and promote a wonderful work environment. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but NOT required. They’re offering a great salary, benefits which include dental, health and vision, PTO, CME time and allowance, sick time, 403b and loan repayment. You can expect to provide healthcare services to women during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide primary care in a clinic setting.

Responsibilities:
•  Conducting comprehensive patient assessments, including obstetric history, physical examination, and diagnostic tests.
•  Providing prenatal care, including routine prenatal checkups, ultrasounds, and fetal monitoring.
•  Providing labor and delivery care, including monitoring maternal and fetal health, managing pain, and performing vaginal deliveries or assisting with cesarean sections.
•  Providing postpartum care, including routine checkups, breastfeeding support, and management of postpartum complications.
•  Prescribing medications and treatments, performing minor procedures, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
•  Providing patient education on prenatal care, childbirth, breastfeeding, and postpartum care.
•  Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to manage patient care and improve health outcomes.
•  Documenting patient information in electronic health records and maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
•  Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
•  Keeping abreast of new research, technologies, and healthcare policies to provide evidence-based practice.
•  Engaging in professional development activities to maintain licensure and certification.

Requirements:
•  Current registration in the State of South Carolina as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
•  Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurse’s Credentialing Center.
•  Master's degree is required, Life support, X BLS, X NRP
•  Must possess excellent clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and communication skills to effectively manage patient care.
•  Must also adhere to legal and ethical standards of practice and maintain patient confidentiality.
