Overview:

– 116-bed regional referral center serving west Nebraska, northern Kansas and northern Colorado.
– Leapfrog Group’s Top Rural Hospital 2019 and 2020
– Locally owned, not for profit – Draw area of 160K
– Hospital employed anesthesia group that consists of 3 MD’s and 6 CRNA’s
– Fully independent CRNAs – “No medical supervision of CRNA’s”
– Cutting-edge surgery department featuring six operating rooms and a highly specialized staff
– General focus – No hearts or “sick peds” – Minimal spine
– Two weeks on – One week off schedule (17 weeks off)
– Week One: Running the OR board and backup call – Week 2: In OR doing your own cases – Week 3: Off
– Back up call only

Compensation:

– Base salary plus 40K incentive (called the “Gimme Incentive” – Easily attainable)
– Salary reflective of desired time off- Ranges from 10 Weeks’ time off (496K base plus 40K incentive) to 17 weeks off (413K plus 40K incentive)
– 11,809 per week
– 50K sign on
– 20K relocation
– 6K CME allowance
– 401k with 4 percent match
