Dover-Foxcroft, Maine: We invite a confident General Surgeon to join a peer practicing in a Top Rural Hospital. Enjoy an interesting, broad scope “bread and butter” practice. You must have solid skills in endoscopy – upper and lower – as this will be a sizable percentage of your work. The facilities here include good laparoscopic equipment and 3 well-appointed operating suites.
This is an employed position on the medical staff of an established critical access hospital that is part of Maine’s second largest healthcare system. You will be offered a convenient weekday schedule – working mostly on site at the hospital, with occasional rotations to neighboring facilities. Light call is shared with the second surgeon.
