A place where you can question, think, debate, learn, enjoy and grow. As you explore, leave your social footprint with the hashtag #ThinkIowaCity when experiencing it for yourself and letting the world know what you've seen for yourself. Indie boutiques and major retailers challenge even the most seasoned of shoppers. Hiking, biking and kayaking encourage the explorers, and football and wrestling attract the UI loyalty by the thousands. Museums, libraries and fossils intrigue the curious! And with the craft breweries and farm-to-table restaurants, foodies think they've died and gone to heaven. Let's face it: when a side of bacon is on the menu, you know you've made it to somewhere good. Start planning your stay and imagine all the ways to engage your curiosity around Iowa City.
