Description
A healthcare facility in Connecticut is actively seeking a dedicated and patient-oriented Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) to join their growing staff.
About the Opportunity
- Schedule: Full-time
- Patient population: Approximately 95% Urology and Neurosurgery with occasional Oral and Maxillofacial and ENT patients
Responsibilities
The Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) will:
- Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients presenting with a variety of medical and surgical conditions
- Provide a broad spectrum of general patient care
- Complete other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and completion of 2 years of an accredited P.A. training program
- Current NCCPA certification
- BLS
Desired skills
- 1 year of emergency/surgical residency beyond formal training
- 1 year of surgical PA experience
- ACLS and PALS
