Description
Location: Pennsylvania
Closest airport: Harrisburg, PA
Need: Locum Ped HOSP MD/DO
Rate: Daily all inclusive rate, expenses paid
Dates open: 6 shifts a month, 1 weekend a month, 24 hour shift, 3x a month, ONGOING need.
Will spread out the 24 hour shifts throughout month
Important: Will wait for PA license, 3 years+ experience,
Census: 0-4/5 avg admits.
Staff Mix: Work solo
EMR: Cerner and Epic
Cred: 90 days
Certs: BC, ACLS, BLS, CPR, NALS, PALS,
Other info: Circumcisions. Coverage Needs Details: coverage/service for deliveries, C-Sections, round in nursery, Level 2 NICU, IP PEDS beds – 18yrs.
Typical day: possible C-section at 730am. • Round with family practice residents on nursery, Level 2 NICU, and floor patients at 9:30-10:00 am. Approximately 6 Nursery, 2 Level 2 NICU, and 2-3 floor patients per day on average.
• Midnight ADC 9-10. Supervise circumcision with residents.
• Attend all high-risk deliveries including C-sections. Take calls for transfers and see ED consults as needed.
On call will include responsibility to attend all high-risk deliveries
