Emergency Medicine residency-trained Physician needed for locum coverage in Amarillo, Texas. The history of Amarillo is deeply embedded in cowboy culture and mythology, since many of the residents are descendants of 19th century ranchers who settled there when the city boomed as a cattle market. This ED has a large geriatric population, so if you love cowboy culture then head on down to the "Grand Canyon of Texas."

• ASAC- ongoing
• 3 month commitment minimum
• 50 hours physician Shift Times: 10 hour shifts, 6a, 8a, 12p, 6p, 8p
• 31% admission rate. Large geriatric population
• EMR: Epic
• ED/Fast Track Bed Count: 49
• Trauma Designation: Level III
• No temp/expedited creds
• BC/BE in Emergency Medicine
• 2 years recent ED experience
