A health services network in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) for a promising opportunity with their Urgent Care team in Queens.
About the Opportunity:
Specialty: Urgent Care
Patient Population: All ages (mainly adults)
Hours: 3 12-hour shifts per week
Call Schedule: Weekend rotations
Responsibilities:
The Urgent Care NP / PA will:
Perform assessment and interventions for each patient
Participate in interdisciplinary committees that influence or determine policies
Follow facility procedures/protocols for admitting residents transferring to hospitals / clinics / outpatient visits
Complete appropriate documentation based on the established guidelines
Assist in defining, maintaining, and interpreting standards of practice
Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in an Urgent Care role/setting
