Description
A services company in New York City is actively seeking a self-motivated and dynamic professional to join their staff as their new Vice President.
Responsibilities
The Vice President will:
- Advise and execute tax insurance solutions for clients
- Collaborate with colleagues, other M&A advisors, clients, and underwriters on a transaction
- Use tax experience in a business manner by contributing ideas about strategy and process to continue growing tax insurance business
- Ability to interact with senior tax and non-tax professionals, including senior management/executives of clients
- Use technical tax experience to understand tax risks and develop solutions
- Educate existing clients and others about tax insurance
Qualifications
- 3-8 years of tax experience at Big Law, Big 4, and/or in-house
- JD
- Proficiency with computer platforms and applications
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organized
- Strong interpersonal skills
Desired skills
- Experience with renewable energy tax credits
