Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate OB/GYN Physician to join our well-established OB/GYN office in Redington, Maine. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a two-provider practice dedicated to providing exceptional care to women in the community. The position is employed, and we welcome both board-eligible and board-certified candidates within five years post Residency training.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, postpartum care, and routine gynecological examinations.
  • Diagnose and treat gynecological conditions, perform surgeries, and provide family planning services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Educate patients about reproductive health, contraceptive methods, and women's wellness.

Work Schedule and Call:

  • The work schedule for this position is full-time.
  • Call schedule is 1:2, ensuring that you will have ample time off to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Requirements:

  • Must be board-eligible or board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Completion of Residency training within the past five years.
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state of Maine (or eligibility to obtain one).
  • Strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
