NP / Texas / Locum tenens / San Antonio Area ED Seeks Help with Coverage Job

ED Description

• 7am-7pm, 7pm-7am, no call
• 14 shifts per month open
• 30-Bed ED, 378 bed hospital
• 38 hours of physician coverage model
• 38 hours of APP coverage (varies on different days)
• ED Annual Volume: 45-50k
• EMR: MediTech
• Level IV Trauma Designation
• Patients per Hour: 3-4

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• Must have TX license and DEA at time of presentation
• Must have clean malpractice/background for temp privs
• Must be Board Certified EM
• Must send self-query NPDB and pre-app with presentation
• Must submit covid vaccination card with presentation
• 48 total CMEs required in past 2 years - within the 48 total - need 9 trauma CMEs for past 3 years
• IM and FM MUST have completed a EM Residency in order to qualify
• ABEM or ABIM with recent EM case logs, ABFP accepted with recent EM case logs
• Must be willing to cross credential
