• Additional Info: Seeking family and emergency medicine physicians for an urgent care opening in Crown Point, IN. On-site Equipment: - EKG - POCT - Diagnostic Imaging On-Site - Lab On-Site Common Diagnoses: - Abdominal pain - Flu - Musculoskeletal pain/injury - Shortness of breath - Upper repository infection - Urinary tract infection Qualifications: - Recent Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience preferred - ACLS/PALS/BLS - comfortable seeing patients of all ages with a volume of approximately 30 patients per day The ideal candidate should be proficient in: - Reading basic X-rays of all body parts - Laceration repair/wound care - Initial ECG interpretation - Interpreting test results - Urgent evaluation and treatment of potentially critically ill patients and the appropriate transport of these patients to the closest Emergency Department - Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Saturday – Sunday 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. - Holiday hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
