Schedule

• 6:30am-7:30pm
• 2-3 Days per week

Clinical Details

• Float between inpatient, outpatient, OR
• PA sees the patient first, obtains history/info and performs exam. Presents to the attending and work on plan together. Every patient is seen by the PA and the attending, dictate all notes and write prescriptions.
• Spine (ACDF, posterior Cervical, lumbar surgeries), as well as cranial - SDH, EDH, brain tumors, SAH/aneurysm treatment, and pituitaries
• Rounding on the patients, writing notes, updating the surgeons, pulling drains, suturing, assisting with EVDs, pre-op patients, post op checks, consults, admission orders, discharges, updating our census, giving sign out
• PA Neuro/PA Neuro Surgery inpatient, outpatient and OR (must have exp with surgery)
• Trauma level 2
