7a-7p/7p-7a - must be willing to work days and nights - please indicate preference 4-7 shifts per month minimum Oct- ongoing
ED Description: Total Hospital Beds: 67 ED Volume: 15-17k ED/Fast Track Bed Count: 15 EMR: MediTech ED Patients per Hour: 1.7-2.05 Trauma Level: IV APP Coverage: 10a-10p
Submission Requirement: ACLS, ATLS, and PALS are required for this facility Must be EM Residency trained with two years recent ED experience
Specialty backup: bariatric surgery, cardiology, emergency care, gastroenterology, imaging services, orthopedic care, PT and rehabilitation, surgery and urology.
Temp Priv Requirements: Provided they have no risk they can get temps granted based on a completed application, documents submitted, and current availability.
TX License: Must be TX licensed or a part of the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC). However, proof of "add a state" application and proof of TX DEA application within 48 hours of assignment confirmation
Board Eligible Accepted: Yes With achievement of certification within 5 years, leading to certification in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA). *Will not accept ABPS/FM/IM
Case Logs/CME/Vaccinations: 2 years case logs and 48 total CMEs required in past 2 years - within the 48 total - 9 trauma CMEs for past 3 years is required. PPD/Flu/COVID
