  • 524 bed hospital
  • Rounding on In-Patients
  • Avg. 13patients per shift
  • Will do admissions
  • No procedures, but needs to be comfortable with noninvasive ventilation modalities
  • From 1:00 pm " 6:00 pm, Swing Shift Hospitalist will be the primary point of contact for the ER.
• Requirements
  • Active SC license
  • CSR and DEA in SC
  • BC in Internal Medicine
  • Must be able to cover open dates without breaking up a stretch of dates
  • Must be able to admit from ER
    • expected to place an order for admission <30 minutes
  • Clean candidates only (no malpractice or background issues)
• Support Staff
  • Day Shift APP is available to *assist* with admissions until 7:00 pm; however Swing Shift Hospitalist is expected to see and evaluate any patient handled by the APP and document a substantial portion of one of the following elements of the note: History of Present Illness; Physical Examination; or Medical Decision Making. Will also be responsible for submitting the professional fee bill (including FS modifier).
