Description
A family services agency in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist for a promising Part-time opportunity with their growing staff in the Bronx.
About the Opportunity:
- Setting: Residential Site
- Schedule: Hybrid (2 to 3 days a week, 1 day onsite for evaluations)
- Patient Population: Adolescents in Foster Care
Responsibilities:
The Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist will be responsible for:
- Routine and emergency psychiatric evaluations
- Psychiatric impressions
- Medication management
- Attending and being an active member of a multidisciplinary treatment team
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice in the State of New York
- Board Eligible / Certified in Child / Adolescent Psychiatry
- Experience working with children, adolescents and families
- Experience working with Child Welfare / Foster kids
- DEA licensure / registration
