Physician / Gastroenterology / Illinois / Permanent / GI Hospitalist - Peoria, IL Job

Practice Details:

• Inpatient consults and Inpatient procedures for Gastroenterology
• Schedule is 25 weeks (175 shifts) per year, Monday-Sunday, 24-hour coverage, in-house from 7a-7pm; shifts will include holidays as part of the normal schedule rotation
• Full time Advanced Practitioner support for daytime coverage
• 24/7 hospitalist program is responsible for adult and pediatric inpatients
• EPIC EMR
• Triage calls for GI and round on patients at all three hospital campuses
• EUS procedure, plus ERCP
• Participate in biweekly colorectal tumor boards
• Hospital is a 349-bed Level II Trauma Center that has been ranked #23 in the state of Illinois for patient outcomes
