A health services organization in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their growing Fertility team in Brooklyn.
About the Opportunity:
Setting: Outpatient
Specialty: Fertility
Schedule: Monday to Friday (close every Friday at 1pm)
Patient Population: Medicaid Orthodox
Call Schedule: None
Responsibilities:
The Fertility Nurse Practitioner (NP) will
Coordinate with providers on patient related issues and questions regarding care, lab results and ultrasound findings
Handle telephone triage, including calls to patients with results, coordinating appointments and communicating therapy changes
Educate patient on treatment protocol and medication teachings
Assess patients understanding of treatment protocols and medication usage
Provide compassionate care and emotional support to patient throughout the entire process
Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
Patient oriented
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized
