Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or
  • Tuesday - Friday: 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM (Optional)

Duration: ASAP Start, Flexible Contract Length

About Us: We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Practice Physician to join our team on a locum basis. Our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and staffed by a supportive team of medical professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct standard family practice procedures, including but not limited to physical examinations, diagnosis, treatment, and management of common illnesses.
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, from infants to seniors.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests, imaging studies, and EKGs.
  • Prescribe medications and formulate treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and patient history.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using our electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Educate patients about their medical conditions, preventive measures, and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and support staff, to ensure coordinated patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of California.
  • DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances.
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient-centered care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Prior experience in a family practice or primary care setting is preferred.
