Tampa Area DX/IR Radiologist Needed 

Average Time to Credential: 90-120 days 

Length of Need: Until 1 FTE is hired 

Shift Schedule: Mon thru Fri; (7a-4p or 8a-5p)

Call: required Mon thru Sun 4p/5p until 7a/8a

Weekends: not required, except for call as listed above 

Minimum # of shifts per month: 15-20 

Coverage dates needed: would like provider to start providing coverage as soon as credentialed 

The site has specific Mammo equipment that limited people are trained on, so Mammo will not be a requirement. Clinician will need to be familiar with McKesson, Meditech, and PowerScribe 360. 

When not doing procedures, Rad must read DX (40 RVU's per day minimum)

Daily IR Volume: 4-6 IR procedures between 2 IR Rads

% of Modality Split: 40% IR, DX 60%

Required Procedures: Lumbar Puncture, Joint injection, Ct Guided Biopsies, CHest Tubes, Myelograms 

Average # of RVUs per day: About 15 IR RVUs & 40 DX RVUs per day. 

There are various support staff on site. 

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• Active DEA 
• Active FL State License
• Board Certified (Boards must be taken within 5 years completion of residency)
