Physician / Hospitalist / Nationwide / Locum tenens / Hospitalist in Nashville Job

Must be Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice

Must have TN License/DEA and ACLS

- Census 18-20 Currently

- 2-3 Daily Admissions

- 8 Nightly Admissions

- Admissions are managed by a Round Robin approach. However, there is an NP on day shift assisting with admits and Observation unit.

- Day Physicians do not respond to codes. One night Hospitalist is assigned to Rapid Response Team.

- No Procedures Required

- ICU is Closed

- Hospitalist do not manage patients in ICU but once a patient is accepted by Hospitalist Team to come out of ICU but remains in ICU as no bed available on the floor then we will round on them in the ICU

- Meditech EMR
