JOB DESCRIPTION:
-Diagnoses and treats patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
-Examines patient to determine general physical condition, following standard medical procedures
-Orders laboratory and other special diagnostic tests and evaluates data obtained
-Determines nature and extent of mental disorder, and formulates treatment program
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Candidates must be comfortable providing care to a child & adolescent patient panel, with demonstrated training in that specific area
-The ideal candidate has ties or familiarity with the NY area and can provide reasonable transportation to the Long Island area.
-Has an understanding of the FQHC environment and can provide non-discriminatory care to the underserved
-BE/BC
-NY State licensed
