Locum Tenens NP/PA - General Surgery Opportunity in Virginia Are you an experienced NP/PA specializing in General Surgery? We have an exciting locum tenens opportunity available. Join our team and contribute to providing top-notch care to our community. Position Details: Specialty: General Surgery Location: Near DELTAVILLE, VA (Vague Geographic Area) Start Date: October 2023 - June 2024 Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm Average Number of Patients Per Day: 15-18 Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: 3 Practice Setting: Inpatient/clinic/office/rounding with MD Supervision: MD will supervise mid-levels Patient Age Demographic: Adult/Geriatric Number of General Surgeons in Practice: 7 Documentation System/EMR: Epic Job Duties/Responsibilities: Line experience, first assist, and surgical OR experience is a plus Suture Removal Order Tests Assist in Surgery Write Prescriptions Coordination of Care Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60 days Requirements: AANP/NCCPA Board Certified - REQUIRED Active VA License - REQUIRED ACLS/BLS Certified - REQUIRED No new grads, Vascular experience highly preferred If you're interested in learning more about this opportunity, please contact us at HDA.
