• Schedule: Monday to Sunday | 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

JOB INFORMATION

• Typical Day: As a Hospitalist, you will be responsible for covering admissions to the hospitalist service overnight, cross-covering ICU patients, and managing nursing floor calls.
• Typical Cases Seen: Med/Surg with cross-coverage of a 6-8 bed ICU.
• Average Inpatient Census per Day: 40
• Average Admissions per Day: 7-8
• Average Consults per Day: 3-4
• Average Admissions per Night: 3-5
• Average Consults per Night: 1-2
• Patient Mix: 100% Adult
• Other Specialties Onsite: Emergency Medicine; other services available via telemedicine include endocrinology and intensivist consultations.
• EMR: Paragon-McKesson
• Time to Credential: 3-4 months
