Physician Assistant - Cardio Thoracic Surgery

Topeka, Kansas

Start Date - October 3, 2022 for six months

We have a client looking for two Locums PA's to augment their Cardiothoracic Surgery service line. Searching for individuals for two weeks per month Must be skilled and independent at Vein Harvesting (utilize the Maquet Vasoview system). Hospital is located less than 1 hour west of Kansas City.

Responsibilities - Call for assigned patients, 7 days per week with a 30-minute response time.

6-10 outpatient and 2-10 inpatients per week. Admits vary

17 beds in the ICU

Possible Schedule -

Monday: surgery

Tuesday: Office 1 pm - 4 pm

Wednesday: Office 1 pm to 4 pm

Thursday: Surgery

Friday: Open

Sat and Sun: rounds then call

2-10 patients per shift

We will cover the lodging and travel, plus malpractice insurance - 1099 Contract Position
