40 Hours a week

Monday - Friday

8:30am-4:00pm

One year minimum forensic experience is preferred. Volunteer/teaching will not be considered toward the experience requirement.

100% of the patient sessions will be in the Residential Mental health Unit. 

The patient case load size varies and includes both regular call outs and crisis sessions (for patients who are in the Residential Crisis Treatment Program).

The prescribers for this location include on site prescribers and permanent telehealth providers (psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners). Prescribers are supported by a cadre of nursing staff, Nurse Administrator, therapists, Unit Chief as well as other support staff.

Security personnel are assigned to ensure the safety and security of the unit and staff.

Approximately 11-12 patients seen per day. 

M-F 8am-4pm are hours.

Treatment over objection involvement may be needed.

This is a fast-paced environment and any Locum Tenens would have to be able to follow DOCCS and OMH rules.
