BAR HARBOR, Maine: We invite a confident OB/GYN to join the medical staff of an exceptional 25-bed hospital in this unique coastal location. This Critical Access Hospital is rated #1 in Maine, and one of the tops in the nation. Enjoy an interesting broad scope practice that is majority Gyn/surgery with some Obstetrics. The hospital sees about 70 births/year, currently managed by two Family Physicians and a Midwife. This is a newly created position to expand services in Women’s Health and expand the pool for C-Section coverage.

You will have a convenient 4 day/week schedule, usually with 3 days in the clinic and 1 day in the OR. Call is shared 1:4, and with the low delivery volume, you can look forward to an amazing lifestyle in this highly desirable community, while having a measurable impact with patients. Join a dedicated team of doctors and advanced practice providers in a comfortable, modern medical office suite right in Bar Harbor. You will be supported by an experienced clinical and administrative team with involved, supportive leadership.

You will earn a very competitive compensation package with a stipend for call coverage.
