1099 Contract

Location: Augusta, Maine

Dates - Nov, 2023 ongoing

2 weeks per month, M-F 7a-4p coverage with 1 weeknight call and 1 weekend of call per month.

Call Schedule / Responsibilities: Weeknight call is not in-house call. Duties for weeknight call include carrying a pager to field all calls from floor nurses regarding inpatients and calls from outpatients.

For 24 hr call, duties include rounding, writing progress notes on all patients, carrying a pager to field all calls regarding inpatients and calls from out patients. The only time the weekend 24hr call provider is required to be in-house will be for rounding

# of providers per shift(including support staff): while on call, there is an attending and an advanced practice providers, the APP will answer pages from the floor/outpatients. Attending gets the ED and Floor new consults. At night or weekends, if any inpatient need to be physically seen, then APP informs the MD. During weekend, an APP attends rounds in the morning and writes the notes.

Requirements

• ME License
• BLS
• DEA
• 1 to 2 years of experience in GS
