Behavioral Health Clinic is seeking an innovative, reliable and flexible Psychiatrist who enjoys working with a supportive and caring group of healthcare professionals and desires a work life balance with schedule flexibility! Come join a growing team of 2 fulltime physicians and 2 fulltime nurse practitioners as well as wonderful team of LCSW's and serve a local population of approximately 35,000 residents in beautiful rural Eastern Oregon.

Facility This is an independent 501(c)3 not-for-profit health system that includes a community hospital and 13 primary and specialty clinics. As Union County’s largest private employer, more than 750 people comprise the team — all dedicated to providing quality health care services to the region.
This area serves a base population of about 25,000 residents, while also providing care for many in the Eastern Oregon and Southeast Washington area. With an employed provider staff of 80, we continue to recruit world class professionals. We are seeking top-quality candidates to join our dedicated team and partner with us in meeting the healthcare needs of our region. Four of our 13 clinics are well-established, certified Primary Care Medical Homes. In 2020 we opened an Urgent Care facility iright outside of the county seat of La Grande, where the remainder of our clinics are located.

Community Located in Northeast Oregon, La Grande is nestled within the mountain ranges that dominate our landscape – Blue Mountains to the west and Eagle Caps to the southeast. These mountains surround the Grande Ronde Valley, the second largest enclosed valley in the world. Needless to say, we enjoy a diverse and rich outdoor lifestyle. The Mount Emily Recreation Area (MERA) is just two miles from La Grande, providing nearly 3,700 acres of year-round access to the Blue Mountains. In winter, MERA is popular spot for back-country skiing and snow-shoeing. Union County is home to Eastern Oregon University, founded in 1929, and also home to the OHSU School of Nursing on-campus program.
