A recognized healthcare company in New York is looking to add a board eligible / certified Family Medicine Physicians to join our team in Monroe County as a a Primary Care Physician.

About the Opportunity:
  • Schedule: Sunday to Thursday
  • Hours: 9am to 5pm
Responsibilities:

The Primary Care Physician will:
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of common medical conditions, from minor illnesses like colds and infections to chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma
  • Managing chronic conditions, monitoring patients' progress, and adjusting treatment plans as needed to maintain optimal health
  • Educating patients about their health conditions and help them understand their treatment options, medications, and lifestyle modifications
  • Conducting regular physical examinations to assess a patient's overall health and detect early signs of diseases or health issues
  • Ordering and interpreting various screenings, such as mammograms, Pap smears, cholesterol checks, and cancer screenings
  • Administering vaccinations to children and adults according to recommended schedules
  • Prescribing and managing medications, including monitoring potential side effects and adjusting treatment plans as needed
  • Treating common acute illnesses, injuries, and infections
  •  Addressing mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, and stress
  • Advocating for patients' healthcare needs and helping them navigate the healthcare system, including insurance and referrals
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records to ensure continuity of care and coordination with other healthcare providers
  • Advising patients on healthy lifestyles, including diet, exercise, and stress management
  • Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
  • Licensed to practice in the State of New York
  • Board Certified in Family Medicine
