Description
A health services organization in New Jersey is currently seeking an experienced, licensed Gastroenterologist to join their staff as their new Pediatric Gastroenterology Division Head.
Responsibilities:
The Pediatric Gastroenterology Division Head will:
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions in children
- Perform endoscopic procedures and other diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the division, including staffing, resource allocation, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care
- Develop and manage the division's budget, including financial planning and resource allocation
- Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Supervise and mentor pediatric gastroenterology fellows, residents, and medical students
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field and encourage professional development among division members
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey
- Board Certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology
