Pediatric Opportunity in northen WV

• Hospital looking for a BE/BC Pediatrician to join them
• Will join 3 Physicians and 2 NP’s
• Staff – three in front, reception/billing, several nurses and MA’s.  Clinic mgr and nurse supervisor.  Nurses give shots and immunizations.
  
• Traditional clinic and inpatient model.
  
• Outpatient census, up to 30 in winter months, 15-20 in summer. Inpatient census approx. 3-10 in winter, lower in summer.
  
• Nursery census highly variable, from 3-15. 
  
• Round on inpatients, nursery and attend any emergent/high risk C section at request of OB.  They’ll do oxygen, fluids, IV antibiotics, photo therapy. Must be competent in newborn resuscitation.
  
• Shared weekend call/inpatient with sister group (1:6).  NP will also be on call over the weekend and take first call and assist with rounding.  Working toward a complete call/inpatient shared model with sister group that would encompass sharing the work week as well.
• Salary range $240K for graduating residents with productivity bonus.  And can earn up to 10% of base comp with a quality bonus.
  
• Hospital employed and contracted to UPC group with excellent benefits

• 100% base salary short term disability for up to 6 months
