Description
Boston, Mass: We seek a top notch Internal Medicine Physician to join the new elite CONCIERGE MEDICINE PRACTICE launched by one of America’s top hospitals and affiliated with the Harvard Medical School. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to provide high-touch care through one of the most prestigious teaching institutions at the forefront of cutting-edge medicine.

This is an equal opportunity employer. Women and minorities are strongly encouraged to apply.

In this interesting role you will have a smaller than usual patient panel, giving you time to provide in-depth outpatient care. You will see patients 5 days/week. Some appointments will happen in the early morning or evening, as deemed appropriate by the physician. You will make clinical decisions regarding the diagnosis and treatment of your patients, including coordinating with specialists and providing guidance when your patients are remote. Should they be hospitalized, you will be directly involved with your patients’ care, including seeing them in the hospital and coordinating with their Hospitalists daily. You will report to the Director of Primary Care and will share call coverage with other Concierge physicians.

Teaching responsibilities (for medical students and residents) may be available through Harvard Medical School. This can include Grand Rounds, professional development and onsite conferences, and excellent opportunities for networking.

Join a team that is committed to racial justice and equitable access, treatment, and outcomes for all people. Clinics are grounded in team-based, patient- and family-centered care. This organization seeks to eliminate healthcare inequities with an expanded care team of behavioral health, nurses, patient navigators, community resource specialists, and support for virtual visits.

You will be hospital employed and will earn an excellent salary plus benefits include relocation assistance, paid liability insurance, health and dental insurance, disability and life insurance, several weeks of paid time off, additional paid leave plus a budget for your CME, and participation in a range of pension plans.

Massachusetts offers four distinct seasons – with blazing photogenic autumns, snowy action-packed winters, colorful springs and warm summers full of activity. Recreation includes hiking and biking, cross-country skiing (with downhill and snowboarding nearby), challenging golf courses, and boating on many nearby lakes and rivers.

Come to Boston, a welcoming community with a metro area of over 8 million people. Dining in Boston goes beyond baked beans and clam chowder to include their Chinatown, the North End (featuring Italian cuisine), and much more. Boston’s cultural menu is just as varied and includes everything from small live-music clubs to top name concerts, live theater and ballet, plus fascinating early American historical sites. Boston offers world-championship sports (football, basketball, baseball and hockey). You will find amazing shopping in high end malls, and in a wide range of unique shops and boutiques.

You can live in the city, or one of several desirable suburbs offering safe, family-oriented neighborhoods, quaint downtowns, superb restaurants, great shopping, and some of the top school systems in the state. Boston is proximate to the beautiful beaches of Cape Cod and Newport (Rhode Island) where you can enjoy sailing or fishing, golf or antiquing. You will be in reach of weekend escapes to ski resorts in Vermont, casinos in Connecticut, coastal retreats in Maine, or New York City. Flying is convenient via Logan International Airport.
