Leeds, Maine: We invite a confident Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join a Federally Qualified Health Center operating 4 clinics serving a multicultural, rural population of over 10,000 patients in central Maine. Founded in the 1970s, 3 practices are located between Lewiston (second largest city in Maine) and Augusta (the state capital) with one farther west in Bridgton. Each site is about 1 hour from Portland. This respected organization offers integrated behavioral health, care managers, and a patient assistance coordinator in a nationally recognized Patient-Centered Medical Home setting. You will provide outpatient mental health care and addiction treatment to adult and geriatric patients (with some families). You will assess patient needs, diagnose psychiatric conditions, and develop/implement treatment plans. Prescribing and managing medication is a key responsibility – and having or quickly obtaining a Suboxone waiver is required. You will be impressed with this collaborative and collegial organization, and their excellent clinical support teams. You will have a convenient 4 day/week schedule.
