NP / Family Practice / New Jersey / Permanent / Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) Job

A healthcare practice in New Jersey is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a promising position with their growing Primary Care staff. As designated by the Medical Director, the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) will be responsible for direct patient care and for other administrative duties. 

Responsibilities:

The Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) will be responsible for:

• Conducting exams
• Performing diagnostic test and screening evaluations
• Managing overall patient care regarding lifestyle and development issues
• Embrace the provision of care in care team environment and actively working to provide exceptional quality care and patient experience
• Emphasizing prevention care and disease management
• Prescribing medications

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in a Multi-specialty and/or Primary Care setting
• Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in a related field
• NJS Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
• Patient oriented
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized

Desired Skills:

• NJS Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license
• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
