Description
Location: Jackson, WY
Duration: Feb/Mar 2024 and ongoing
Reason for coverage: Provider shortage
Schedule: week on and week off, 5on/5off, 10 days month in two stints,
Wed PM – Mon AM or Thur PM – Mon AM
Shift: 24hr call
Call: Yes,
Patient volume: Low volume
400-300 deliveries per year. 0-1 per day.
Scope: Laborist
Ship out 36 weeks or less, these patients will not deliver here and transferred out.
EMR: Cerner
Hospital: 49 bed 6 bed labor unit
Group/support: 2 other OBGYNs in the community, 1 Midwife. ER physician on 24/hr call.
Relationship with EIRMC in Idaho Falls transfer patients to if needed
Requirements (boards, license): Must be Board certified, not interested in BE
