Description
Locum Pediatrician Needed in North Carolina We are currently seeking a Board Certified Pediatrician for a locum tenens position located near ENGELHARD, NC. Job Details: Specialty: Pediatrics Candidate Type: MD, DO Visa Accepted: No J-1 or H-1B Employment Type: Full Time Salary Range: Not Specified Loan Repayment: Not Specified Bonuses Offered: None Job Description: We are seeking a Board Certified Pediatrician to provide locums coverage. The provider will need to come in the day before their first shift for orientation and training. Coverage Needed: January – June 2024 Details: Outpatient (clinic & call) Average # of patients/admissions per day: 20 in the office Average # of admissions/day in the hospital: one Average inpatient census: 1 baby born per day Call: 1 night per week; 1 weekend per month Call shared with: pediatrician, NP, and FM MD Will respond to codes: No (unless in the nursery) Required attendance at C-sections when requested by OB provider No ICU/Critical Care duties No ER backup coverage required EMR: EPIC Practice Includes: 6 exam rooms and onsite lab services. 1 MD, 1 FNP, and 4 Nurses/MAs.
